I have been in need of writing down the process of Drama X for some time.
Now seems to be that time.
I was driving back from Transformus (a Burn located in Asheville,North Carolina- gorgeous) with +boar head (Boarhead) & +Sam Ocean (Sam) in 2008. It was POURING down rain and it was raining so hard the old windshield blades could not keep up and we ere driving about 30 on the interstate in a large truck. I suggested we should pull over and i'll spring for some new blades. I decided to get some Rain-X and some blades full well knowing that the rainX would be enough though I was wanting to keep moving and well i guess I didn't want to stop again for this issue.
So
once applied, this magic substance (WELL worth buying though it probably does some nastiness to the living creatures in it) to the windshield allows for new experience in riving to occur. the rain was coming down and when before the the water was so thick vision was like looking through a water fall--Now with the Rain X I could see the road clearly. The rain beaded up and rolled right off. Before the rainX we were crawling along at 30 Miles per hour on Interstate 40 No we are ZOOMINg along at the speed limit of i think 60 or 70--

WITHOUT the windshield wipers on!
Even though i knew this would occur it was still a shocker since we had already had a helluva trip of car troubles and regular group road trip issues. Towing and and broken mirrors and sombreros( that sounds like a better title 'Broken Mirrors & Sombreros'). It was such a relief to not only not have to deal wit hte windshield wiper back anf forth I also didnt have to deal with the rain at all. The nit came to me.....
First: the Graphic
And so spoke to +Shoshannah Silverman (Sho) and she offered to help create some of the graphics for Drama-X . which should look very similar to Rain X...within a couple weeks BAM! then I added a few words and a before and after sad/smily face.
Second: the sticker
Next went to FedEx/Kinkos to get an estimate (i cant remmebr the cost maybe $100 for 50 stickers)
Third: the containers
Went to Target and bought 50 small spray containers ....actually i remember cleaning out several of the targets around Dallas for this. Little spray bottles the kind used for ..... well spraying things. about 12 to 15 ounces.
Fourth: The water
Intention has been filling me with passion and direction over the past 5 years and this was my first experience with discovering where intention can be influenced from and with. I was taking from the beliefs of Dr.Emoto and our ability to influence water through our words. I was expounding on his concept. I went with +Rebecca Fetch (rebecca) to +Tom Hall(Tom) and +Sheri Hall (Sheri)s house where SO many wonderful events have occurred over the past couple of years.
With Rebecca's help we placed the Drama X stickers on the bottles and we filled the bottles with the pool water then set them in a large enough circle for someone stand in the center of before the next event held at that house that night. There were about 60 people that showed up or so. ( i wonder if there are photos from that night?
Fifth: the MAGIC!
At the next event at Tom and Sheri's I asked everyone who desired to stand in the middle of the circle one at a time and express some blessing/ prayer/ positive statement/ Song towards the water. I gave them a piece of paper with a primer such as 'I thank you water, I love you water'.
Sixth: The presentation
At The next Burn event Myschevia held in October of 2008 (infamously known as Mudchevia! or Pyrosythesis (thank you +Marshall Yount Marshal --for so much - you get a separate post later)) Rebecca and I went around the event and handed out all of the bottles to who ever desired them. with the idea they could spray themselves to prevent Drama from occuring to them or allow the drama they are having to go away. They also can spray others until their drams goes away or they go away with their drama. ;-)

It has been 4 and a half years now and I have found one bottle in San Francisco with +Heather Blaikie (Alabama) which she uses currently for holding her dish washing soap :-). I found another 2! bottles with Kelly Rene Castello in Houston one of them still had the original water in it! -- that was her first burn ever ! In fact she met me when she put my hair out when it caught on fire while spinning fire
:-). I say she met me since I was filled with adrenaline and responsible for the fire procession since i was the lead...
I would love to know where more of these bottles have found their homes and how they have been used.
Mainly I amazed how fantastic it was to collaborate on such a beautiful project. The start of a long line of collaboration efforts to appreciate those around me and the situations that occur through those interactions.
I made a change to the graphic in hopes more could realize their abilty to replenish the rejuvenating powers within the veseel they choose.
(Also on this same road trip i expressed my desire for the Death Spiral (now Life Spiral) for my manner in which my body is handled after it dies.-- GREAT TRIP)
