Hallucination: #2 Aztec Temples

MAD NESS - well worth it

In 2010 Rebecca and I were in Las Posas in Xilitla, Mexico---wildness to be had there for anyone who appreciates obsessive compulsive art. OVER THE TOP insane. we spent a week or so here. If the weather had been better we would have spent more time in the park space more often. Fact is as we walk in the park we each take two hits of acid. Now this was our first time to take two hits of this acid. Pushing our limits together. Well we didnt plan entirely to well and found ourselves with out water no headlamp and crawling on the ground searching for the way out ...scaling the fence to escape the surrealistic madness that is Las Posas--while tripping our faces off trying to determine the difference between the trail and the jungle- hard to explain. we were quite scared though not really knowing what we were scared of.

The hallucination happened while the sun was still up. i felt the sensations peaking on the drug. So I settled down to stare off into the waterfall that i fond myself in front of. the waterfall was coming down the hillside through the jungle ending about 6 feet above the water(at my feet) before it spilled into the water. there was a plant that was twitching back and forth from the flowing action of the water. the Sun was behind the water fall pointing towards me through the jungle tree tops. there was a hill on either side of waterfall.

I was sitting staring with a soft gaze after a deep breath to hold. Then world started to shift. The hills on either side of the waterfall transformed to Aztec buildings or temples.  As the temples came into more defined shape the stream passing though it changed shape as well. The temples created a new well defined pathway for the stream to pass through. Then at the end of the stream where the water fell a new shape was created allowing the water to flow up and out in a fountain type display.

What i interpreted from this was the temples were the male energy and the water and plants were the female energy. I got obsessed with trying to figure out which came first the temples or the stream when transforming. Also I came to the realization that if I as Gregory Jackson Haley just do what ever it is I want to do then the forces around me will alter and form something more beautiful than before. Allowing me to exsist as I need and desire to be.

Sure there was a better way to say this just glad to get it down. been wanting to write it down for some time.

Hallucinations: #1 Leaves were looking at me

I had tried mushrooms a couple times before though apparently not as much as this time. I am guessing 3grams. I was at the midwest burn Interfuse 2008.  I was handed some mushrooms from a good friend about 6pm. I enjoyed the conversations around me and laughed quite a bit. at one point i felt the need to pee so I went over to the edge of the campsite to pee in the forrest. this is where i was introduced to stillness and its effect on psychedelics. As i stood there looking off into the soft distance, I noticed the leaves were looking at me. then I noticed ALL the leaves were looking at me. I was still peeing and for some reason still with my soft gaze in tact no sudden movements or a desire to look around. I was enjoying the vision i was seeing. I can not say there were eyes on the leaves though i knew they were looking at me.

It was the leaves not the trunk though Google failed me.

I saw it more as a tunnel that I interpreted later as a tree.

I was not scared. in an instant there was a download of information being sent to me through the connection established with the leaves. I went up a tree into the branches into the trunk then back into its history. I saw the connectedness of all the trees. stemming off each other --or rather reconnecting with each other as i went back in time. I saw the evolution of the plant and what it came from. I saw what its relative came from and so on. I remember a flash backward through history even faster to the point of spores. Then how the spores came to the planet Earth to spread. The spores had come through empty space and landed on Earth from far away. The spores had traveled in all directions and was present on every planet.

The awareness of the leaves were looking grew into the awareness that everything was looking at me and aware of me and everything i was doing.

I saw everything as connected in a tree like structure.

Spin the Wheel Tell a Story

version 2 at Apogaea 2013

I was at Apogaea in Bailey,Colorado in June of 2012. I walked by a guy on a microphone at The Story Portal that was telling a very intimate story about his first sexual experience to about twenty people sitting and standing. I was mesmerized. He went into great detail as to how he felt and how he experienced the moment. he stepped down from the mic. 

It was an open invitation to walk up and spin the wheel and tell a story. I stepped up and told several stories that i had never told anyone. I LOVED IT! i wish all the people i knew had heard those stories. most of all i was happy to tell them. No clue if the people in the audience were listening (though there were ooo , ahhs, claps every so often).  The ideas on the wheel were something like.  My First time

I went back to Dallas and decided to make my own on mason board with a spinner. I put some paper over the board so it could be written on and be seen easier. At the next burn, FreezerBurn, I took it out and asked people for some conversation starters. I filled in the blanks on the wheel and so it began. I sat up two nights in a row till the wee hours hosting the event around a fire. I think the fire was an essential element to creating a captured audience to listen in on moments to inspire them to share moments.

I feel we are all wanting deeper connections with all those we include in our lives. It seems  our lives have moved away from being able to create those connections and gotten out of the habit to do so.  I like the idea of creating a Smart Phone app that allows for this kind of story telling moment to occur anywhere. while a conversation can serve as a get to know you kind of experience having an external device direct the experience is somehow disarming enough to allow intimacy very quickly.

Grow food inside stomachs

VERY happy at this moment i am not a professional and have no reputation to uphold or need to have a well thought out idea ;-) - this is more of a scratch pad day --as you peer over my shoulder.

Been wanting to post this for some time. The combination of intention, ear buds w/ music ( and no words or at least ones I cant understand) and the magic of Adderall allows the reduction of the static in the nogg'n.... must use sparingly (that/this stuff is super addictive). My writing seems to be a lot more erratic and chaotic -- practice!(after writing a little I realize how out of practice i am)sd

A population will grow to the size of its food supply. (sorry cant find a reference for this... grrr not that it really matters since this is NOT SCIENCE)

I feel there are technological advances in food that have yet to occur. I feel humans are excellent at creating/innovating solutions to problems though it always requires an extreme to motivate that change. While I claim no ownership of this or any idea I want to state that this a crazy in the way we think of food and social interaction.   to the point.

I think we should grow food inside our stomachs

Simple as that. The best solution for understanding this is a symbiotic relationship with another organism that dwells within us (endosymbionts) and we provide it with sugar, water salt...  Certainly we have a symbiotic relationship with the already present bacteria in our bodies. Whoes to say the food chain doesn't just get longer inside of us.

I used to think I liked food.
I like flavors, smells, tastes, textures, memories associated and VERY MUCH the social interaction that comes from the buying/eating/sharing/preparing/the build up/wind down of the eating moment. So much interaction comes from food. I even like/love washing dishes(my favorite job I ever had was washing dishes). So I am desiring more of that/those and less of the actual swallowing and digestion aspects of eating. 

Since we would be getting all of our nutrition from the food grown in our stomachs (that we feed?) many changes would occur.  Transportation of food from around the world  of bulky perishable foods would not be needed. The eatting expereince would change, and i like to think, to be more of experience rather than efficiency. Which i know is a dicotomy since it already is an experience and does not need to be more efficient. Agricuture was invented around 10,000 years ago and we still have yet to create an eating habit to standardize. Funny how i dislike being told what to do though i think diet and exercise should be taught to children.   A lot can be attributed to the fact there is constant discovery and testing on animals across the globe. Who knows maybe cancer will be cured by some deravation of high fructose corn syrup. Cancer may be another something that we just learn to coexist with as is separates from us to become its own entity-- sounds like another post hmm- i digress.

Transportation
of course in my world the resources used to transport the large quantities of food around the world would be greatly reduced and appropriated - most likely used to create new space age ways of keeping cocks hard and humans sexually active/interested.

Eating Experience
I envision the eating experience to be more like a plate with thimbles of spices, sauces and textures. Feeding yourself or others in a group to share in the emotions experienced during the interaction.  Being able to describe the feelings occurring with the flavor/smell texture is more the direction i see going rather than filling ourselves with what is in front of us out of it being the cheapest to fill us.

Expansion
seeing the populations of the world expanding since the dominant species is satiated by having less. That desire expanding in other areas--which I am very interested in knowing more about.

Enslavement
conspiracy theory #1:
All of the endosymbionts in each of us will unite with telepathy and decide to rebel against us the master sugar/water providers. They will direct us to do their will. Creating a whole new world. ( love how ideas just spring up and onto the page)



(will have LOTS more time on our hands.  This is very upsetting to many I have seen with many. Idle hands make people nervous - I have feared it at times. Wondering what I would do with my life after the success or failure of The Ball of Light. More happens is all. Seek your love. Many seem to feel we are not more proactive/productive with our time as it is will all the time savers. I see it as different we are experimenting with a variety of devices across an entire population and will see what we appreciate each for what it does best. Picking and choosing along the way and changing as the situations calls for it.  -- personally getting rid of my house,TV, other appliances choosing only my cell phone laptop and car as my ways of interacting has changed my life in ways I could only appreciate months after having done it.  )

Yes there are plenty of pitfalls though that is what SCIENCE and eager problem solvers are here for.
I seem to be a problem maker in this instance ;-)
